Chorus:
Hoist up the sails,
and pull up the anchor,
belay the halyards' and trim the jib and main sails.

Hoist up the colors,
and batten the hatches,
we're gonna sail on down to Martinique.

Verse:
I hate to leave this old coast of Mexico,
the good times here like always have been good to me.
The women here just know how to treat their men just right,
oh, how I hate to leave.............. So...(Chorus)

Verse:
I found a little place a little hide away.
One that the tourist have not yet found.
A bottle of tequila, a lady and a sun that's hot,
is all you need, and all you've got............ So...(Chorus)

Verse:
Looking back across the waves I begin to smile.
As the coastline settles in the sea.
I look ahead as the sun climbs high above.
Good by Mehico, hello Martinique! .........So... (Chorus)

Island Time

Verse:
I gaze out from my bedroom window,
looking at the streets below.
People working, children playing,
traffics jamming, the noise is blaring.
all the while I, sit here dreaming,
waiting for mind to clear.
Then I pick up my guitar,
put my feet on the table,
and lean back to enjoy the time.

Chorus:
Living on island time.
Living on island time.
Just take it on down, a couple of levels,
you'll be living on island time.

Verse:
Sailing on down the coast,
running free with the wind.
The ocean is mighty,
this sailor is feisty,
the sunlight's  blinding,
the night sky is falling.
On the shoreline,
city lights sparkle,
mixing with the stars above.
The gentle rock of the ocean,
puts this sailor to dreaming,
peaceful as the morning calm.  (Chorus)

Verse:
In the islands you forget your ways,
all the games you used to play.
The water the sun,
the wine and the rum.
the moon and the stars,
that Caribbean charm.
Then you start to drift away,
as you sail on another day.
Another island of fun and
more wine and some rum,
living like a pirates son.

Living on island time.
Living on Island Time.
Just take it on down a couple of levels,
you'll be living on island time.
Just bring it on down a couple of levels,
you'll be living on Island time.

Sit-in' on the front porch havin'' a beer,
play a little guitar, while the sun goes down.
Burgers and dogs, hot  on the grill,

an ice cold beer brings a chill.
It was a hot one today,
an ice cold beer brings a chill.

Sit-in' on the front porch havin' a beer,

Title:  Everything Considered
Written by:  Peter J.

Verse:
Joe he was a friend of mine, I've known him for a long long time........Ever since I was a boy..... and he'd moved in next door......Well, he didn't do much talkin',..... but when he'd tell a tale,.... well you could listen for hours and hang on every word.

He would tell us  stories... of long ago.....The times he had spent,.... with the girl next door,........and he would tell us tales,.... of when he was a lad,..... and all the dickens that he'd gotten into,.....and all the fun that he had.

He would tell us stories,....about the war,......brave men he had fought with,....who never did come home....  and he'd say out loud their names,.....each and everyone,......as if he could still see them standing there,....and then he'd settle down.,.....and he'd say, son...

Chorus:
Everything considered,..... I lived a pretty good life....  I never got rich,.... nor, did I take a wife.....but what I saw of this old world,.....I'll take to my grave,.....you see son,.......all the world's a memory,..... of stone and ageless names.

Verse:
Now one day I saw  old Joe,.....sittin' out on his porch.......So I wondered over,....just to say hello....and we sat there for hours,....and never spoke a word,.....and then he turned and he smiled at me,....and I wondered on back home.

Now  about a month went by,......when Joe and I say down again,.....and he took out some pictures,.....of him and his men,.....and in a box he held so tight,.... was a Bronze Star, .....the medal of Valor,.....and a Purple Heart.

It was then that I realized,......what a man I had meet,......an honest to God Hero,..... a man above the rest...... a man who fought for freedom,.......who put it on the line,.......so, others wouldn't have to,......at least for a time................................

(Instrumental)

(Spoken during instrumental):  Now  ,   just the other day..... the mail man came,.......and he had a special delivery,....... and I knew  right away........

Verse:
Now,  I've since long moved away,......I got a wife and two kids,........and I tell them the stories,.....as Joe once did,.........and I watch their faces,....as they hang on every word,.......and then I take out the box and show them the medal's.............

Today I came home,... to see old Joe,........pay my last respects,......to a man I had known,.....I had learned so much,......from this gentle man,...........and as I touched the stone,.....his words hit home,.......and I could hear him say, Pete..........

Everything considered,......I lived a pretty good life,.........I never got rich,.....nor, did I take a wife,....but what I saw of this old world,.......I'll take to my grave,.......you see son,.......

all the world's a memory,......of stone and ageless names,.........and he'd say son,...........

all the world's a memory,............of stone,.............and ageless names.

Cast Your Dreams

Verse:
I lie down to sleep,
upon an empty beach,
the wind blows through the palms, soft and warm.
The stars fill the sky.
Then one goes shooting by,
and the moonrises up, from the sea.
In a cafe nearby,
a band plays a lullaby.
Two lovers holding hands by the sea.
I watch them for awhile, then I begin to smile.
I pull my hat down as I close my eyes, and the band sings.

Chorus:
Li Li Li Li Li Li......Li Li Li Li Li Li.........
Li Li Li cast your dreams upon the sea...... and they will
Li Li Li Li Li Li.......Li Li Li Li Li Li..........
Li Li Li Li will bring, you back to me.

Verse:
Many a day has past,
when I finally thought at last,
for some rhyme or reason why, I just don't know.
If only for the night,
I again could hold you tight.
I pull my hat down as I close my eyes, and the band sings
(Chorus)

St. Lucia

Chorus:
Come sail away with me to St. Lucia.
Come walk the sandy beaches, hand in mine.
Come sail away with me to St. Lucia,
and I will stay with you, through all time.

Verse:
I've sailed around this world, on this old schooner.
The seven seas run heavy, through my veins.
I've sailed through stormy seas, no man should venture.
I've seen the face of death, at every turn.

I've had my share of rum, my share of bourbon.
I've had my share of fights, and endless nights.
I've had my share of life, my share of living.
I've had my share to gamble, against the odds.........  So...(Chorus)

Verse:
The years I've lived, upon the ocean.
The years I've lived sailing, 'round this world.
The years searched in vain, times forsaken.
I've lived a life time alone, how 'bout you.  (Chorus)

Boat Shoes (I wanna be a millionaire)

Verse:
I've got my boat shoes on and my captains hat........
my alligator shirt and my green plaid pants.
Martini in hand, shaken not stirred.............
look out ma, ma cause I think I heard......I'm no James Bond........
but then take a good look around.

All I want is what I don't got........
a great big yacht......don't think I'm asking a lot.
I wanna sail around without any cares.......instead I'm stuck here.....
standing on the pier........waiting........for my boat to come in.

Chorus:
I wanna be a millionaire.......cause I think I could like it!
I wanna stuff a million dollars.......down in my underwear.....oh yea!
I wanna be a millionaire.......cause I think I could like it.....and
you know some day.....I'll probably give it all away.

Verse:
You've heard the one who dies with the most toys wins.....
well I'm shooting for last just barley breakin' a grin.
I'll probably be around, just long enough.....to see my number hit,
for a twelve way split, ya know.......yea I thing you know........(Chorus)

Verse:
You know I wasn't born with a silver spoon......
but that doesn't mean you have to give me the moon.
Sometimes I feel it just isn't enough.........
to give a shit, or to have shit luck.........You know.........
Yea, I think you know!

I wanna be a millionaire.......cause I think I could like it!
I wanna stuff a million dollars.......down in my underwear.....oh yea!
I wanna be a millionaire.......cause I think I could like it.....
and you know some day.........I'll probably give it all away.

I wanna be a millionaire.......cause I think I could like it!
I wanna stuff that million dollars, right down in my underwear....
oh yea!
I wanna be a millionaire.......cause I think I could like it.....
and you know some day.....I'll probably give it all away..........
yea, yea you know someday.....I'll probably give it all away........
woohooo you know some day....I'll probable give it all away............

Not!

Burning Wood
Written by:  Peter J.

Verse:
Well, you know last winter I spent a million or two, heating my house with that bubbling crude, black gold, OPEC's oil.

So I thought I'd get smart like others before and I went out and I bought me a stove, a wood burning stove that could burn coal.

Now, I went right out and I bought me a saw, an ax and a wedge and a big heavy maul and I took to the woods truck and all.

Now the first tree I cut was a big oak tree, it came crashing down with a big heavy thud and I looked at that tree lying on the ground.  And I saw before my eye's a crackling glow and I felt the warmth of a wood burning stove and I said hey, now that's for me.

Chorus:
I'm burning wood......I'm burning wood........
I'm burning wood.

I'm burning wood......burning wood.......
Just burning wood.

Verse:
Now I cut up that tree and piled it on the truck, brought it home to split it up, get it nice and seasoned, before the winter comes.

Now, swing an ax then swing a maul, parley your wedge then swing it some more, working up a thirst, just working the wood........ 'cause (Chorus)

Verse:
Now my back is aching and I'm feeling worn, my hands are blistered and my pants are torn, all this work, just to stay warm.

Well, I hardly think it's worth it at all, then I see that oil truck standing tall, then I'm back out in the woods and oh yea!    I'm cutting more...... 'cause  (Chorus)

Verse:
Now, when winter comes along and it get mighty cold, I'm gonna be sitting by my wood burning stove, keeping nice and warm, just my Honey and me.

And I'll drink my beer and  sing a little song, waiting  for spring when it's gonna get warm, 'cause hell or high water this winter, I sure won't freeze............ 'cause

Chorus:
I'm burning wood...... burning wood........
I'm burning wood  and I'm staying nice and warm.

Just burning wood...... burning wood.......
I'm burning wood, all winter long.

I'm burning wood.......burning wood........
I'm burning wood!

Verse:
There's a place I go .....when memories are you.
There's a place I go to remember.
Where Love was one a dream that we shared....
by the old covered bridge in summer......
I remember.

I remember the day when we carved our names.... on that old covered bridge in summer.
How  we laughed and we cried as we starred in each others eyes......and the promises we made where forever......I remember.

Chorus:
We would walk along that old winding stream......holding hands.......making plans.
Little did we know what time would bring......little did we know......back then.

Verse:
I remember the day when we carved our names.....on the old covered bridge in summer.......and today they remain......thru the snow  and the rain......thru the years that time has weathered........I remember.

There's a place I go .....when memories are you.
There's a place I go to remember.
Where Love was one a dream that we shared....
by the old covered bridge in summer......
I remember...........I remember.

Verse:
There's a wind that's a blowin' it's carrying me onward.......it's taking me places.....I've not seen before.

It's filling my sails.....the ship pitches forward....I've not seen a wind ....alike this before................

There's a light in the distance beckoning me onward......the wind sets my course....to starboard I go......It must me a port or perhaps a lone drifter...who's light is a flicker of a wind of it's own.

Chorus:
And I hear the wind as it calls out my name......it whispers it to me as it blows off the waves
There's a wind that's a blowin' it's carrying me onward.......it's taking me places.....I've not seen before.

Verse:
The light in the distance is fading so softly............as the wind takes me onward , a mind of it's own.........No light to be seen just oceans of darkness......the sea mist is cold as the wind that unfolds.         (Chorus)

Verse:
My sails are now  tattered as the wind rages onward the winds growing strong the sea stands a roars..........The bow waves crash harder.....the main mast falls downward.... there's a  wind that's a blowin' a will of it's own.        (Chorus)

Verse:
Alas, in the darkness the wind gathers to me , there's a light in the distance to help calm my soul..............
There's a ship on the ocean a drift in calm waters........a waiting a wind, to take it on home.

And I hear the wind as it calls out my name......it whispers it to me as it blows off the waves........................(whisper)..................

There's a wind that's a blowin' it's carrying me onward....................
it's taking me places......................
I've not ......................seen before.
